Okay. Don’t tell the bandanas, but this combed cotton scarf is the absolute softest thing we’ve made to date!
This reversible scarf blends two inspirations; the artist Bridget Riley, a pioneer of the 1960s op-art movement, and historical handloom double-weave fabrics. Like Riley’s work this scarf uses repetitive black and white shapes to create an optical effect. And like the historical double weave fabrics, this knitted scarf is “two-faced”, the colors inverting to create a light and dark side. You can read more about history about two-faced fabric on the blog.
