Designed and handcrafted by heritage artisans in India using a distinctive block print technique called Ajrakh.
Hand printed on a voile (very light weight) chanderi. Chanderi is a very fine Indian silk-cotton blend. Traditional Ajrakh printing is rooted in the use of natural dyes, resists, and blocks made from wood and metal. This oversized bandana with tiled center and flower bud border is a beautiful example of the craft's connection to Islamic designs.
