Designed and handcrafted by heritage artisans in India using a distinctive block print technique called Ajrakh.
Hand printed on a mid-weight merino wool weave. This fabric has a nice rustic and cozy feeling. The way the printing method and dyes react with the wool, it has a beautiful naturally faded look. Traditional Ajrakh printing is rooted in the use of natural dyes, resists, and blocks made from wood and metal. This oversized bandana with ogee tesselation and paisley border is a beautiful example of the craft's connection to Islamic designs.
