Care Instructions

ORGANIC COTTON BANDANNAS

Machine wash in cold water with similar colors. Hang dry or tumble dry on low-medium heat.

NATURALLY DYED SILK BANDANNAS

Machine wash in cold water with similar colors and pH neutral detergent. Hang or tumble dry on low. If you want to 'break-in' your bandana; wash once in hot water then dry with some dryer sheets of felt balls. After that, use only cold water to keep the colors bright.

All natural fiber dyed fabrics will fade with time. Last Chance bandannas have been washed several times to rinse out excess dye and soften the fabrics. (some colors soften faster than others). Natural dyes on the silk are prone to fading, we call this “Beausage” (Beauty+Usage). It is part of their charm.

EMBROIDERED BANDANAS

In addition to the above directions per fabric (silk or cotton), we recommend using a mesh laundry bag to wash and dry. This will keep the embroidery threads from snagging on anything else in your laundry load.

SILK NOIL WRAP SCARVES

Spot clean with pH neutral detergent or dish soap and cold water to maintain natural dye colors. When needed, hand wash in cold water and hang dry. All natural dyes will patina and fade with time.

HANDWOVEN COWBOY SCARVES

Spot clean with pH neutral detergent. When needed, hand wash in cold water or place in a mesh bag and machine wash on delicate cycle. Hang dry or tumble dry low. The hand spun yarns tend to crumple a bit after washing. You might love this look (we do!), but you can smooth with a warm iron if desired.

BLOCK PRINT SCARVES + LEHERIYA KERCHIEFS

Spot clean with cold water. When needed, hand wash in cold water and hang dry. Press smooth with a medium-hot iron.

BANDANA AND SCARF SLIDES

LEATHER SLIDES: Keep away from moisture or long exposure to sunlight and heat. Spot clean with a dry or slightly damp rag.

STERLING SILVER SLIDES: Polish with a soft cloth. You can find cloths made especially for polishing silver and these work nicely.

OTHER METAL SLIDES: Polish with a soft cloth or wipe clean with a slightly damp rag. Keep away from moisture and anything that may cause scratching.
