Historic Textile of the Month
This “Delectable Mountains” quilt, made in Kentucky around the 1920s. Its name comes from The Pilgrim’s Progress, a 1678 English allegory where the “delectable mountains” symbolized rest, refuge, and renewal along a long journey. Learn more...
