Social Media Coordinator: Part-Time

Location: Remote (or Portland, Oregon)
Reports to: Owner and Designer Lindsey Fout
Terms: Independent Contractor at 8-10 hours weekly with room to grow


We are looking for a talented Social media coordinator to maintain and grow a strong online presence for Last Chance textiles. This role requires working independently to create engaging text, image, and video content that aligns seamlessly with Last Chance Textile's aesthetic and authentic messaging. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Take ideas from the social media spreadsheet & create posts
  • Brainstorm with Lindsey regularly to generate new ideas for content
  • Develop and manage weekly social schedule and post as planned
  • Write copy for email, blog, and social posts
  • Produce, edit and publish video content for social
  • Test and run both paid and organic marketing campaigns with measurable results
  • Engage authentically and kindly with social media audience and online community
  • Share performance insights and make recommendations for adjustments and new tests as part of the weekly meeting


What’s required

  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Well-versed in ever-changing social media tools and platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc)
  • Proven work experience as a social media manager for eCommerce/apparel brand(s)
  • Familiarity with social planning tools such as Later or Planoly
  • Comfortable creating social graphics using Canva, Illustrator, or other tools
  • A visual aesthetic that aligns with Last Chance Textile's branding
  • A creative eye for detail and graphic design skills a plus
  • Familiarity and interest in fashion and textiles a plus
