This pattern was inspired by the center of giant sunflowers that peep over my garden fence in later September. Soft organic cotton dyed a deep burnt red and ethically hand-made in India. Made with high quality cotton voile.

Vintage-Inspired Scarf Print

Explosive peonies and dahlias burst onto the scene. No one will accuse our Blossom bandana of being a wall flower! Naturally dyed with turmeric and indigo.

Our favorite way to wear these bandana is tied up in your hair, as the nubby silk stays put and doesn't slip.  The more you wear your bandana, the softer it will become.

Indigo Dyed Bandana

Dyed with natural Indian Indigo, Dot-Danna is screen printed by hand with polka dot pattern inspired by turn-of-the-century rotary prints.

Calico Cowgirl Bandana

Naturally dyed with burnt ash, madder root, sea salt and iron earth. Field-Danna is printed by hand with a pattern inspired by California allergy season, french sample books, and the town of Zalipie, Poland. (More on that mashup here.) Made from silk noil, a fabric with a slightly nubby texture that is naturally warm and wicking. Achoo! Bless you, flowered friend.

Sometimes referred to as “raw-silk”, silk noil yarns are spun from shorter fibers leftover from the spinning and manufacture of other silk fabrics. Silk bandanas make a great travel companion, keeping you comfortable in both hot and cold climates. Silk noil has a varied, nubby texture and matte surface that somewhat resembles a handwoven cotton. The unique texture can be best described as 'cozy'.  They also work great tied up in your hair, as the nubby silk stays put and doesn't slip.  The more you wear your bandana, the softer it will become.

Rose Bandana Print

Naturally dyed with madder root, flame of the forest, and pomegranate.  Rosey-Danna is screen printed by hand with a pattern inspired by Art Deco illustrator George Barbier, 18th century French textiles AND a border tribute to Indian woodblock printing.  Yep! This one is a real trip.

The spontaneous check at the center is created with a tie-dyed yarn technique.  Woven with Khadi (handspun) cotton, this weave is gauzy with subtle textures and flecks of color indicative of the organic handmade yarn.

The textured hide interior grips your scarf and stays put. This handmade scarf slide is finished with a beautiful craftsman touch of traditional hand-stamping and laced closure.

Too tired to tie knots? Time to shine, bandana slide!  This one is handmade using a traditional sailor knot that looks like a pretty braid. We create each of these right here in the Last Chance Textiles Studio.
