Light Silk Cowboy Scarves
To develop the fine silk fabrics used in this collection, Last Chance Textiles engaged with the India-based initiative Karghewale to connect with weavers in West Bengal, famous for their very fine weaving traditions.
The mission of Karghewale is to empower artisans to build robust businesses that express their distinctive creative vision. What differentiates Karghewale is the belief that weavers are equal partners in the business, not mere wage workers who will weave a set design and be paid per-meter wages.
