Embroidered 100% Cashmere Scarf

This scarf is wonderfully warm without feeling bulky. Its long, tapered shape makes it easy to wrap around your neck, tuck into a jacket, or wear loose when you just need a little extra layer.

Softly embellished stitching meanders along the edges, giving this scarf a little classy oomph. But this isn’t your average computerized embroidery. Every stitch is guided by hand on a machine whose design dates back to the 19th century. A little old-school craftsmanship on a very soft, very modern scarf.

Made to order, one at a time. Please allow 2+ weeks for development.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery
Items must be unworn, unused, with tags attached, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Returns and exchanges are available to US customers only. International orders and custom embroidery items are final sale.

NEAR AND FAR, DETAILS MATTER

You come to us for good natural fibers with a story, and this cashmere has one. It starts in Inner Mongolia, where it’s responsibly sourced and meets the Good Cashmere Standard and OEKO-TEX® certification requirements.

From there, it’s knit at our ethical factory in China and makes its way to our Portland studio, where we add the good stuff: a hand-stitched embroidered border, worked one scarf at a time on our trusty, hand-operated chainstitch machine.

A little textile nerdiness for you: cashmere is a natural animal-hair fiber collected from cashmere goats, a breed that takes its name from the Himalayan region of Kashmir, where the goats originated. It’s prized for being exceptionally soft and light, with a remarkable ability to keep you warm without weighing you down.
