About Our Cotton Bandanas

  • OUR NEW FABRIC

    100% Organic Cotton Voile

You’ll notice this fabric is a touch lighter than our previous cambric. It’s a bit sheer when held up to the light but will still be opaque when you fold or roll it up to wear as a bandana. What’s nice about voile is the drape and super soft feeling, making it effortless to tie on without too much fuss.

  • OUR NEW PRINTING PROCESS

    Running Yardage

As a textile designer, it is a thrill to have my designs printed in yardage. More importantly, this development improves our final product in the following ways.

    • Design shows on both sides
    • Less waste
    • More colors
    • Full bleed printing

Read more about our printing process here

  • OUR FACTORY PARTNER

    Family Owned in India

Our cotton bandanas are now made at a fair and ethical family-owned facility in Mumbai, India that is SEDEX 4-Pillar Certified.

We’ve been working with them for the past couple of years on our silk bandanas. With the whole LCT bandana family under one roof, we have expanded our capabilities as outlined above and reached our goals to further reduce waste and carbon emissions while maintaining consistent inventory.

I was able to visit the facilities and better acquaint myself with the team this past September. Call me old-fashioned, but nothing is better than meeting face-to-face. I gained transparency for my business and was warmly welcomed as a guest and friend.

ABOUT THIS COLLAB

We've been collaborating with Lacy of Die Trying since 2018 on our chain-stitch embroidered bandanas.  Once or twice a year we send a bundle of bandanas down to Texas for her to embellish with her antique chain stitch machine.

Each DieTrying TX piece is created using the same hand operated vintage chainstitch machines that were used to create traditional western wear. While most embroidery today is computerized and mass produced, the work done on these vintage machines is hand done and made one piece at a time. Chainstitch embroidery machines started being manufactured around 1911. Lacy uses a handle below the machine to steer and essentially draw with stitches.

You can learn more about Lacy and her artistic life by reading our blog interview!

Stunning

Absolutely gorgeous! It is the perfect size and the colour was bright! Just wish shipping was cheaper to Canada. Since the items are small & flat, it would be a better option using USPS for cheaper shipping to Canada vs UPS/DHL etc.

HOT RED BANDANA

Every bit as beautiful in person! Lovely Hot Red Bandana with multi-color embroidery - purchased for July 4th. Very soft, fine cotton, so comfortable right-off-the-bat.

A perfect finishing touch

I have bought about 20 Last Chance textiles - bandanas, silk scarves, embroidered bandanas, the silver rings that secure the scarves around your neck. I'm wearing one as I write this. The bandanas lift my face and my whole outfit. The quality is great and shipping is fast. I don't feel dressed without a Last Chance bandana.

I love a bandanna— these are crisp , not wimpy or silk. Great colors with eye catching embroidery that makes these really stand out. Love them!

Fun bandana

I ordered the bandana because the embroidery added extra color ( in colors that flatter me) and a lot of charm. It isn’t inexpensive, but I always try to shop small. The item came beautifully packaged so it would make a great gift. I’m enjoying the flair it adds.

Gorgeous color and love the embroidered addition!

Easily becoming one of my favorite bandanas. The color is amazing, and the addition of the embroidery is so beautiful and a unique add. It's also super soft unlike many other printed bandana brands.

Highest Quality!

Everything about this bandana is perfect. Beautiful hand dyed colors. I'm not always a fan of silk because it tends to be too slippery but the silk noil is fantastic, just the right weight for a summer scarf. The embroidery is a special extra and when the bandana is folded to a triangle its perfectly placed to show off.

Beautiful!

I love the pattern and beautiful blue coloring on this bandana! I wear it rolled and tied around my neck and the embroidery gives it such a pretty pop of color. It’s soft and high quality fabric. I’m looking forward to purchasing more items from this store.

Textile magic

I love this bandana. The embroidery colors are brilliant on the black and white pattern. After searching silk squares for months this was the solution I was looking for to compliment a black sequined tee shirt. It was difficult to choose among the other beautiful color combinations. I look forward to buying more. These will make special gifts. I also appreciate the natural fibers and dyes.
