Chainstitch Silk Noil Bandana | Ash Pink Daisies

$89.00
24 x 24 inches +/-

Chainstitch Embroidered Bandanas

Large daisies in full bloom spiral across one corner in delicate chainstitching, with sweet little accents peeking from the opposite corners. No matter how you style it ( ties can go in the front or back) the handmade details steal the show. Crafted on sumptuous silk noil, this bandana is proof that the best accessories tell a story.

Each piece in this collaboration carries the hum of a vintage chain-stitch machine, the very kind once used to craft classic Western wear. Guided by a steady hand rather than a computer, the embroidery grows line by line, thread by thread. No two are alike, each design bearing the subtle rhythm of the artisan who stitched it.

These soft, earthy tones are achieved through a natural dye process using plants and minerals, carried out by skilled artisans in India.

Often called “raw silk,” silk noil is spun from shorter fibers left over from the making of other silks. The result is a fabric with a soft, nubby texture and matte surface that feels cozy and lived-in, almost like handwoven cotton.

Silk noil bandanas are perfect travel companions, keeping you comfortable in both hot and cool climates. They stay put when worn in your hair, soften beautifully over time, and only get better the more you wear them.

Care Guide

Hand wash or gentle cycle with cold water using a mild pH-neutral detergent to preserve color. Wash with like colors.

Tumble dry low. You can further soften your bandanna with a dryer sheet or ball. It will also soften back up with wear.

Master artisans dye our silk bandanas providing the maximum color fastness possible. However, all naturally dyed fabrics will inevitably fade with washing and time. Sweat and skin oils may shift color as well. We call this “Beausage” (Beauty+Usage).
