    August is here, and we're soaking up the last stretch of summer while looking ahead of a new season! Here’s a peek:

    We're busy behind the scenes getting our fall drops ready! 🍂
    I started designing this collection last Autumn coming off a full year of balancing being a full-time caregiver to my infant while running LCT in the margins.

    Appreciating the beauty in everyday scenes has always influenced my work, and this collection was no different. I was seeing the world alongside my baby daughter through her developing vision (literally!), the two of us mesmerized by pinwheels, spinning toys, and bold, high-contrast imagery.
    Op Art with a Folk Art execution has been a recurring theme in my work for Last Chance, and this collection is my latest 'spin' on it. Pun intended.  

    Stay tuned, the first drop will be later this month! 

    HISTORIC TEXTILE OF THE MONTH

    This printed cotton handkerchief from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston was one of the inspirations behind our Switcheroo design. Made in India for the American Export market, its diagonal split, contrasting colors, and mix of floral patterns show how one small square of fabric can hold so much personality.

     

    SHOPKEEPER SPOTLIGHT

    Located in downtown Mill Valley, Fennell is a thoughtfully curated shop filled with clothing, housewares, gifts, and apothecary goods from around the world. Owner Natasha Biggart opened the shop in 2024, creating a colorful and welcoming space full of thoughtful finds. We’re so happy to have LCT included in the mix!
