"Winslow" features tonal stripes of silk and cotton earth reds- each outlined by a plied texture yarn. At one corner pyramids are created by a special supplementary weft technique done while the textile is still on the loom. (The weavers call this stack of small motifs “buti”.) At the opposite corner the design comes together in a classic check. No matter which way you wear it, Winslow was designed to be a bold statement scarf. Woven with Khadi (handspun) cotton and silk this weave is gauzy with subtle textures and shine.
